My third book titled — ‘React-Router Quick Start Guide’ published!

The title says it all. This is my third book with Packt Publishing and I wrote a book after four long years. In the last few months, I’ve spent my weekends writing this book and it was an arduous undertaking. Here’s the cover image: I have used React and React-Router in many projects and during the course of writing this book I’ve learned a great deal about these frameworks/libraries. This book is all about the ‘React-Router’ library and how you can use it any React application (web or native). My first book titled 'Kendo UI Mobile' is here!!

The title says it all. I had posted a couple of entries on Kendo UI earlier and was approached by Packt publishing to write on 'Kendo UI Mobile'. Writing a book was both a personal and a professional goal that I had set for myself. Today I have realized it and I feel accomplished. For almost everyone, first things are very special. Be it their first job, paycheck, girlfriend\boyfriend, marriage, first kid and anything that happens for the first time in their life. This is my baby and I'm going to celebrate my win today. Hello Myntra

Another big announcement today. I've joined Myntra.com which is India's largest online fashion store. I've ordered stuff from Myntra a few times in the past and it has always been a great experience buying from them. Now that I'm working with them, I'll buy more :) More importantly it's a new day and beginning of a new journey. I'm all excited about my new job and I hope to learn a lot in coming days. Wish me luck!!

Good Bye Adobe

The title says it all. Today was my last working day at Adobe and I've decided to pursue my career elsewhere. I've spent more than three and half years at Adobe, working as a part of the ColdFusion Engineering team. Over the last few years I've learnt a lot from the team, from the ColdFusion community and from many others at Adobe. I've developed interests in HTML5, JavaScript and other related technologies and frameworks and I've decided to pursue my interests.

Speaking at Adobe ColdFusion Developer Week

The Adobe ColdFusion Developer Week is here and is scheduled from 12th of September to 16th of September 2011. I'm pleased to announce that I'll be speaking on Wednesday, 14th of September and my session title is 'ColdFusion Builder: The Professional IDE to Boost Your Productivity' . This session would focus on how you can get started with using ColdFusion Builder and productivity features that would enable you to develop ColdFusion applications in no time. I'll also be demonstrating the new features that have been introduced in ColdFusion Builder 2.0. Speaking at Scotch on the Rocks 2011

The title says it all. I will be speaking at Scotch on the Rocks (SOTR) conference to be held at Edinburgh, Scotland on March 3rd and 4th 2011. I will talking about the next version of ColdFusion Builder codenamed Storm. The speakers and sessions were announced a month back and I must say the session topics look very impressive. Of course there will be sessions on ColdFusion and related technologies, but one would also get to know more about HTML5, Regular expressions, Software Requirements etc,. This is going to be my first ever ColdFusion conference and I'm very excited.
